graphility Ltd. and its subsidiary graphility Belgium SCS collect as little identifiable information as possible. The following disclaimer states what is collected and how it is used.
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser on your computer when you visit a website. We use non identifiable cookies to gather aggregate statistics that do not personally identify you, such as ratings on photographs or website usage. We use these statistics in Google Analytics to help us understand our visitors and improve our service. If you comment on our articles regularly, you may opt in for an identifiable cookie that stores your name and email address for commenting: this data does not serve any other purpose and is simply an optional convenience. Most browsers accept cookies unless you change your browser settings to refuse them. You may change your browser’s settings to refuse ours anytime, your experience of our service will remain the same.
If you leave a comment on an article, we collect the data you provide in the comment form, as well as the IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. An anonymized string of your email address — also called a hash — may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your Gravatar picture, if any, is then visible to the public in the context of your comment. The comment itself is stored indefinitely to retain context of the conversation.
If you contact us through our contact form, we store that communication for basic customer service purposes. Simply put, we archive the message to keep track of context, but do not use it in any other form.
We collect your name and e-mail address with your consent when you subscribe to our newsletter or take part in a photoshoot. Your e-mail address is not shared with anyone, nor will it ever be shared. This data is securely stored at Campaign Monitor, where we use it to send our newsletter. If you are subscribed and do not wish to receive our emails any longer, you may unsubscribe at the end of any email anytime.
In particular to the now closed Streetglams project, your photograph, first name, or nickname as disclosed during a street style photoshoot, may be shared on this website and on graphility’s other venues — i.e. online portfolio or social networks. By accepting to pose for a street style photoshoot, you signed and marked your consent to explicitly grant graphility Ltd. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to the content. We have not used these rights beyond publishing on our website and on our social networks at the time of the project.
Feel free to contact us if you have reasons to believe we hold data about you and you wish this data erased. Please note that this does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or already concluded business agreements.
Our service may contain links to other websites such as social networks — for example, an embedded YouTube video in an article, or sharing content on twitter. These websites may use their own cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with the embedded content if you are a registered, logged in user of their platform. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties. Please visit their privacy policies to understand their collection practices.
