Spring has arrived, so I guess my winter campaign has come to an end.
Due to many circumstances, I have only been to Poland so far. First, I have been delaying my travel because my presence was required in Brussels, as I have to wrap up my divorce. Then, when I was ready to roam again, my friends were not ready to put up with me. In short, the promises are kept, but the plans have been delayed.
Now, I have to stay in Brussels and save some money. If and when I will go to my friends, it will more likely be a mini trip of a few days rather than a whole travel odissey. I have personal projects to fulfill in Brussels, and I definitely need to get more income.
Yet I do not regret anything. My time in Brussels has been good so far, I have kept myself busy shooting more photography, catching up with design techniques, and enjoying the cultural scene. Concerts, ballet, parties, eatings… It’s been good. Up to this week.
For some reason, luck has turned. Session shoots, graphic design activities… Many have cancelled or post-poned their collaboration. It’s as if the only words I heard this week were “no” and “sorry”. It sucks. I am trying hard to keep up with the good vibe, take it as a test of endurance on my new projects and visions, but I admit it’s not easy. I guess this is only a test of what is to come, the good and the bad.
I hold on.
